I purchased the Irish Cardigan for Men, Charcoal, size MEDIUM for my husband based on the sizing chart - 34" chest, slim man, 5' 10" tall, 170 lbs, and returned it for a LARGE that was also snug, but fit. An EXTRA-LARGE may have been better. Otherwise, the sweater is fabulous! Beautifully made, thick gorgeous wool, and WARM.Be aware that all Aran sizes seem to be snug in the midsection, but the sleeves are nice and long and may be rolled up to make cuffs. Once you get the correct size, the100% Merino Wool Aran Sweater is a winner!
