It washes well.these reviews frequently are about sizing, aren't they?My 9 year old is tall (over 90%) and slim (very slim - sometimes doctor-concerning slim). Size large was great for her shortly after her 9th birthday. She loves it. I love it. Just buy it..I read reviews and ordered a large but I wish I would’ve ordered according to the chart. People who complained about the sleeves being short but I think they’re supposed to be more of a 3/4 sleeve. Had I ordered the size correctly it would’ve been more snug and had a better fit with her dress. I was last minute though so it had to do.Her dress is a 6x Oshkosh for size reference. The large shrug was too baggy.I bought this for my daughter to wear to a wedding (over a tank top dress) and it looks amazing!Adorable sweater. Please note it is not meant to fit as a regular size sweater would. It's meant to fit short on the torso and 3/4 inch sleeves. It's meant to go over a dress or dressy outfit. I love it. Looks super cute on my 6yr oldProvides coverage, but no warmth at all.My 9 year old who wears size 14 got the extra large and it fits her well. She will be wearing to church with her sleeveless dresses. She loves it.Very cute cover, but I’m glad I read the reviews before ordering. I ordered a much larger size than what I normally would for my 6 year old. Fortunately, it fit. Make sure to order big!
