It’s what I was looking for. My daughter is a little bigger than an average sized 6 year old. She barely fits into a 6x but when I go to the next size up, it’s usually too big. I bought 7-8 years (size) and it was perfect with a little more room to grow in. She will get use out of this. It doesn’t look too big on her..I really am happy with it. The way it fits is nice because even though it’s SLIGHTLY on the big side, the way it forms to the body is perfect. It doesn’t look sloppy on her. I’m happy to the point that I will buy more in different colors. Like me, I think you should buy one first, and if you like it, then buy more. Very light material. I purposely bought it just to go over a short sleeve dress for Christmas (it wasn’t cold here in California). If you’re look for warmth, this is too thin. In the picture with the 3 girls, she is standing to the left. The other two girls have cardigans on from Macy’s. A little thicker material and color is off white, very nice. Size 2t and large.This is a favorite of my 9 yr old granddaughter' s already. She had to start wearing uniforms and she loves fashion and is super picky about the feel and fit of clothes. She wore this to school a few days and now has it tucked in her locker for cool days. She had girls compliment her and want to know where to get one like it. Every diva needs a piece in her wardrobe others are jealous to own. My Diva found hersI ordered two of these - gray and navy. I'm a little person, so I wear children's sizes. They're cut very strangely. For the price, I knew I wasn't getting the highest quality, but I wanted them to wear mostly around the house so that was ok. Yes, they are very thin, but that was something that I completely expected when I placed the order. What I didn't expect was how oddly shaped and cut they are. I don't exactly know how to describe it, but the two sides of the front are cut so that they can never be brought together. Instead of hanging like a traditional cardigan, the sides don't come any farther than the middle of my hip and rib cage. Because of that, these feel more like a cape to sleeves to me than a cardigan. It's a pretty strange look and not all that comfortable.I just needed a thin jacket to go over my daughters easter dress that matched and didn’t take away from her look... and this did everything I needed it to and more... I tied it up so it would cover as good as itt could her under shirt....she also can wair this for school. Dress it up and downMy girl is almost 8 (2months away) she is wearing 6X clothes. All 7/8 clothes are WAY to big for her from Walmart and target. I ordered a 7/8 in this and it fits her perfect! She will only be able to wear it this year. She likes the pockets and how light it is. It is not something that will keep her warm its more to just take the chill off.My daughter loves this cardigan sweater she wants to buy more!Very nice and great price. Material is very thin but that’s what we were hoping for. This is not to be meant for warmth, it’s to go over tanks and short sleeve shirts in cooler temps.My 7 year old absolutely love this sweater. She has 3 and wears them all the time. I plan on buying more in the future.
